Timothy Easton became known for his highly finished and imaginative sculptures made during the 1970's and 80's and through that time there have been many one-man shows including exhibitions in Germany, Luxembourg and America. He returned to painting in the mid 1980's and has held four one-man exhibitions in London through the 1990's.

Much of his work concerns the English landscape through the seasons, the human figure being an important element of his work. He is particularly adept both at still life and interiors, often capturing the effects of sunlight through a skilful use of colour.

He has participated at the Henley Royal Regatta and Art in Action for several years and exhibits regularly in mixed exhibitions throughout the country.
